‘Global burden of bacterial antimicrobial resistance in 2019: a systematic analysis': traducción de un artículo científico especializado

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es definir y descubrir las principales características de la traducción científica. Para ello, en primer lugar, se ha llevado a cabo una aproximación teórica al concepto de las lenguas de especialidad y los textos que resultan de estas, a través del análisis de sus rasgos característicos y los criterios para clasificarlas. Una vez se ha establecido dicho concepto, se ha procedido a definir y a exponer las características de los textos científicos. A partir de ahí, nos centramos en la tipología y en los rasgos característicos de los textos científicos y el perfil que ha de tener un traductor especializado en este ámbito. Por último, se ha realizado un análisis textual y morfosintáctico del artículo científico seleccionado, teniendo en cuenta los aspectos que se han descrito con anterioridad. The aim of this work is to define and discover the main characteristics of scientific translation. For this purpose, firstly, a theoretical approach to the concept of specialized languages and the texts resulting from them has been carried out by analyzing their characteristic features and the criteria used to classify them. Once this concept has been established, we have proceeded to define and explain the characteristics of scientific texts. From this point, we focused on the typology and characteristic features of scientific texts and the profile that a specialized translator in this field should have. Finally, a textual and morphosyntactic analysis of the selected scientific article has been carried out, considering the aspects aforementioned.
