Propuesta de protocolo : Tratamiento fisioterapéutico de la sensibilidad tactil en la mano en pacientes con quemadura de segundo grado profundo

Abstract

Resumen: La alteración de la sensibilidad táctil en las quemaduras de las manos afectan de manera importante las actividades de la vida cotidiana de las personas. Esta pérdida puede ser controlada gracias a la actuación de la fisioterapia. Objetivo: Avaluar la eficiencia del Ejercicio Terapéutico Cognoscitivo (ETC) de Perfetti en la recuperación de la sensibilidad táctil en las manos de pacientes quemados. Metodología: Son 36 participantes repartidos en dos grupos. Cada grupo contiene 9 pacientes con injerto de piel en la mano y 9 pacientes sin injerto de piel en la mano. Tienen entre 18 y 60 años y quemaduras únicamente en una extremidad. El grupo control “A” no tendrá la técnica Perfetti, pero únicamente el tratamiento ambulatorio del “Hospital de la Vall d’Hebron” de Barcelona. El grupo experimental “B” tendrá la técnica de Perfetti y el tratamiento ambulatorio. Se valorará la evolución de la sensibilidad táctil en la mano quemada y la satisfacción de los pacientes al tratamiento. Limitaciones del estudio: La pérdida de motivación, la aparición de lesión en las manos de los participantes, el dolor y la dificultad para encontrar la muestra entre otras cosas pueden tener un impacto fuerte de limitación en este estudio.

Abstract: The alteration of the sensibility by burns in the hand may affect a lot the daily activities of people injured. This loss can be controlled thanks to the physiotherapy. Aim: To assess the efficiency of the Cognitive Therapeutic Exercise by Perfetti about the recovery of the tactile sensibility of the burned hand. Methodology: There are 36 participants divided in two groups. Each group has 9 patients with skin graft in the hand and 9 patients without any skin graft. They are between 18 and 60 years old and have burns in only one extremity. The control group “A” won’t use the technique of Perfetti but only the ambulatory treatment of the “Hospital de la Vall d’Hebron” from Barcelona. The experimental group “B” will use the Perfetti’s technique and the ambulatory treatment. The evolution of the tactile sensibility in the burned hand and the satisfaction of the patients about the treatment will be evaluated. Limitations of the study: the loss of motivation, the apparition of lesion in the hand of the participants, the pain and the difficulty to find the sample may have a big impact in the limitation of the development of this study.
