Estudi sobre l’autopercepció dels infants de cicle superior d’educació primària d’una escola de màxima complexitat en relació amb les àrees STEAM

Abstract

Aquesta recerca pretén indagar sobre quins són els principals motius que porten als infants a tenir percepcions dubtoses o negatives sobre ells mateixos com a estudiants en relació amb les àrees vinculades amb l’STEAM i esdevenir-ne professionals tot i el llarg recorregut educatiu que tenen encara per endavant. Les dades de la recerca s’han obtingut mitjançant qüestionaris i entrevistes passats a infants de cicle superior d’una escola de màxima complexitat i assenyalen que els resultats acadèmics i la manca de comprensió pels continguts rebuts a l’escola en són els principals motius.

This research aims to investigate the main reasons behind why children have doubtful or negative perceptions about themselves as pupils in STEAM-related areas, and to becoming professionals in the long educational journey that still lies ahead of them. The research data has been obtained through questionnaires and interviews with upper-cycle primary education school children in a high complexity school, and shows that academic results and the lack of understanding of the contents received at school are the main reasons for these perceptions.
