L' estereotip racial en els joves de 3er i 4art d' ESO. Aproximació al seu nexe amb la "islamofòbia" en un grup d'estudiants de Vic

Abstract

L’objectiu d’aquest treball es investigar pensaments i actituds dels joves no musulmans cap a les persones musulmanes i també dels joves musulmans cap a les persones no musulmanes i musulmanes. També esbrinar la connexió entre estereotip racial i el terme «islamofòbia». L’estudi s’ha realitzat amb joves d’entre 14 i 18 anys que estan estudiant els cursos de 3er i 4rt d’E.S.O en Instituts de la ciutat de Vic. Anteriorment a aquest estudi, es pot observar dins el treball una fonamentació teòrica sobre l’estereotip racial, els models d’estudi contemporani d’aquest, l’aparició del terme «islamofòbia» i el seu antagònic «occidentofòbia», així com també l’influenciabilitat dels joves en l’adolescència. Per tal de realitzar aquesta investigació s’ha aplicat una enquesta. Els resultats obtinguts un cop realitzat l’estudi, han demostrat que alguns pensaments i actituds recollides sobre les persones musulmanes estan basades en estereotips de tipus racial sovint amb un tendència pejorativa cap a aquest grup social.

The goal of the study is to investigate thoughts and attitudes of the youngsters no Muslim to the Muslim people and also of the Muslim youngsters to the no Muslim and Muslim people. Also investigate the connection between racial stereotype and islamophobia. The study has realized with youngsters of between 14 and 18 years that are studying the courses of 3er and 4rt of E.S.O in Institutes of the city of Vic. Before this study, there are a theorical about racial stereotype, models of contemporary study, concept of islamophobia and the opposite concept of occident phobia, as well as also the influence of the youngsters in the adolescence. In order to realize this research has been applied a survey. The results obtained once completed the study, have demostred that some thoughts and attitudes collected to the Muslim people they are based in stereotypes of racial type sometimes with negative trend to this social group.
