Disseny i avaluació d'un programa educatiu sobre primers auxilis dirigit als estudiants d'educació secundària obligatòria

Abstract

Introducció En el nostre dia a dia tant en l’àmbit personal com professional, ens podem trobar en situacions que, tot i no suposar un risc per a la vida, requereixen coneixements bàsics en primers auxilis (PA). Tenint en compte la importància de tenir un bon coneixement sobre PA en la població, la proposta del programa educatiu estarà dirigida als alumnes de 4t d’ESO, ja que és una etapa educativa obligatòria, fet que ens garanteix que tothom rep la formació. El programa inclou diversos temes sobre primers auxilis, juntament amb un apartat sobre gestió emocional, enfocat a la humanització de l’atenció urgent. Objectiu L'objectiu principal d’aquest treball és proposar l’aplicació i avaluació d’un programa educatiu dut a terme per infermeria com a professional sanitari, sobre primers auxilis a l’institut, dirigit als alumnes de quart d’ESO, per tal d’aprendre i conèixer les diferents actuacions davant les situacions que comporten primers auxilis. Metodologia Estudi expertimental configurat a partir del disseny de Solomon, format per quatre grups (intervenció pre-post, intervenció post, control pre-post, control post). La mostra d’estudi està constituïda per una selecció de 104 estudiants de 4t d’ESO, d’entre els centres educatius d’Osona. Dissenyat per realitzar-se durant el curs escolar, compta amb nou sessions, una sessió per setmana, d’entre 1 i 2 hores de durada. Utilitat pràctica dels resultats Incrementant el coneixement sobre primers auxilis a la població adolescent, implicaria un impacte sobre la millora de la salut, en els aspectes: disminució de la mortalitat davant ACR, disminució de la mortalitat davant ofeg, reduir la gravetat de les seqüeles, reconeixement precoç davant ICTUS, entre d’altres. Introduction In our daily lives, both personally and professionally, we can find ourselves in situations that, although not life-threatening, require basic knowledge of FA (first aid). Keeping in mind the importance of having a good knowledge of FA in the population, the proposal for the educational program will be aimed at students in 4th ESO. Mainly because it is a compulsory educational stage, a fact that guarantees that everyone receives training. The programme includes various topics on first aid, together with a section on emotional management, focusing on the humanisation of emergency care. Objective The main objective of this work is to propose the application and evaluation of an educational programme carried out by nurses as health professionals, on first aid at school, aimed at students in the fourth year of ESO, in order to learn and know the different actions to be taken in situations involving first aid. Methodology Experimental study based on Solomon's design, consisting of four groups (pre-post intervention, post intervention, pre-post control, post control). The study sample consisted of a selection of 104 students in the 4th year of ESO, from the educational centers of Osona. Designed to be carried out during the school year, it consists of nine sessions, one session per week, lasting between 1 and 2 hours. The practical usefulness of the results Increasing knowledge of first aid among adolescents, would have an impact on improving health in terms of: reducing mortality from cardiorespiratory arrest, reducing mortality from choke, reducing the severity of consequences, early recognition of stroke, among others.
