Anàlisis fenomenològic de les necessitats psicosexuals dels pacients ingressats en Unitats de Cures Pal·liatives i la seva relació amb el benestar

Abstract

Les necessitats psicosexuals són una part integral de l’ésser humà i han de poder ser abordades des de les cures pal·liatives de forma holística, donant resposta a tots els aspectes del benestar de les persones. L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és conèixer i analitzar les necessitats psicosexuals dels pacients ingressats a les unitats de cures pal·liatives i la seva relació amb el benestar. Aquesta investigació es basarà en una metodologia de recerca qualitativa de disseny fenomenològic des d’una perspectiva holística i naturalista. La mostra serà intencionada, raonada i per conveniència. Per tal d’obtenir la informació es realitzaran entrevistes semi-estructurades tan a les persones amb malalties avançades com a les seves parelles. Per tal de complir amb els criteris de rigor de la investigació qualitativa s’utilitzarà la triangulació d’investigadors i de mètodes. Amb la realització d’aquest estudi, s’obtindrà una primera contextualització sobre quines són aquestes necessitats dins del nostre context sociocultural. D’altra banda, també es pretén aportar beneficis per als seus participants augmentant el seu benestar sexual estant físicament en sintonia amb les necessitats que puguin tenir i d’aquesta manera poder gaudir dels beneficis que la sexualitat els pugui aportar i poder-los garantir unes bones cures infermeres. Per tant, el que es pretén amb aquest treball, és comprendre i analitzar, des del paradigma infermer, la situació en què es troben aquestes necessitats per tal que es prenguin mesures al respecte, i potenciar les implicacions per a la pràctica infermera que es deriven de poder fer recerca, permetent-nos millorar la qualitat de l'assistència prestada pels professionals i potenciar el desenvolupament de la Infermeria.

Psychosexual needs are an integral part of human beings and need to be addressed holistically from palliative care, responding to all aspects of people’s well-being. This study aims to know and analyze the psychosexual needs of patients admitted to palliative care units and their relationship with their well-being. This paper will focus on a qualitative research methodology. It will be based on a phenomenological design from a holistic and naturalistic perspective. The sample will be intentional, reasoned and for convenience. In order to obtain information, semi-structured interviews will be conducted with both people with advanced illnesses and their partners. Triangulation of researchers and methods will be used to meet the rigorous criteria of qualitative research. By conducting this study, we are going to be able to establish the most predominant psychosexual needs within our socio-cultural context. On the other hand, this study also provides us with the tools to improve the participants' sexual well-being by being in tune with what they need. Thus, allowing them to enjoy the benefits that sexuality can bring them while implementing good nursing care. Therefore, this study wants to understand and consider, from the nursing paradigm, the situation of these needs to take action and enhance the implications of the nursing practice. With this research, this paper wants to improve the quality of care provided by professionals while fostering best practices within the nursing community.
