Estudi qualitatiu del membre fantasma en persones afectades d'una amputació i des d'una mirada biopsicosocial

Abstract

OBJECTIU: conèixer com els hi afecta el membre fantasma en les persones que tenen un membre del seu cos amputat, què senten a nivell físic i com es senten a nivell psico-emocional. També conèixer tot el que envolta aquest procés. METODOLOGIA: estudi descriptiu qualitatiu amb un grup de pacients reals amb un membre amputat i també a un professional de fisioteràpia. Les variables a estudiar s’estableixen a partir d’una categoria d’anàlisi utilitzant tècniques qualitatives de grup focal i entrevista semiestructurada. Gràcies a aquestes respostes es realitzarà un recull del que han descrit i es farà un anàlisi de resultats gràcies a la triangulació de dades de les entrevistes individuals i l’entrevista de grup focal. APLICABILITAT: aquest estudi pot formar part d’unes bases per fer una intervenció en pacients amputats en un futur des de un punt de vista biopsicosocial. Per això serà tant rellevant escoltar-los i conèixer què és el que més els hi afecta i quin tractament han rebut per poder-se centrar en treballar allò que més necessiten en un possible futur tractament.

AIM OF THE PROJECT: know how phantom limb affects people that have an amputation in their body, and how they feel physically and psycho-emotionally. Also know everything that it is around the process. METHODOLOGY: descriptive qualitative study with a group of real patients with an amputation and also with a professional of physiotherapy. The variables to study are focused on the answers that the patients had given during the different interviews. Thanks to these answers, we will collect everything they had described and the analysis of the results will be done by using the data triangulation technique between the individual interview and the focal group. APPLICABILITY: this study could be the basis to do an intervention with amputee patients in the future from a biopsychosocial point of view. This is the reason why it will be relevant to listen and to know which things affects these patients the most. Also which treatment they have had to focus on working out what they need the most in a possible future treatment.
