Els escapoliments en els centres de protecció de la infància i l'adolescència a Catalunya

Abstract

Aquesta investigació pretén conèixer la realitat dels escapoliments en els centres de protecció d’infants i adolescents a Catalunya i les diferents metodologies d’intervenció davant d’aquest fenomen. També pretén donar una visió crítica d’aquest fenomen tant poc estudiat, ja que tant a nivell d’Espanya com a nivell de Catalunya són escassos els estudis que tractin aquesta problemàtica i hi ha una manca de transparència per part de les Administracions responsables que no incorporen a les seves estadístiques oficials ni publiquen dades sobre escapoliments. A partir de les dades obtingudes, podrem comprovar que molts adolescents acollits en centre s’escapoleixen sovint o ho han fet alguna vegada, cosa que suposa un problema a l’hora de realitzar una intervenció educativa. A partir de la investigació també es vol conèixer aquest fenomen analitzant diversos aspectes com les motivacions que porten als joves a escapolir-se, quin és el perfil sociodemogràfic d’aquests i la magnitud d’aquesta problemàtica a Catalunya. Hi ha moltes formes d’intervenció. Per aquest motiu s’han revisat els documents de bones pràctiques, els programes i reglaments de règim intern dels centres i s’han fet entrevistes a equips directius de diversos centres per escoltar la seva opinió sobre les diferents intervencions educatives davant els escapoliments. Amb la informació extreta d’aquestes entrevistes i a partir de la investigació realitzada en el marc teòric, s’ha plantejat una proposta de metodologia d’intervenció per a fer front als escapoliments.

This research aims to know the different methodologies for intervention to face of the phenomenon of runaways in residential protection centers for children and adolescents in Catalonia. It also aims to give a critical view of this phenomenon which hasn’t been almost studied in Spain or in Catalonia. From the information extracted, we can see that many mentored adolescents often run away or at least they do it once, which is a problem when it comes to educational intervention. The research also aims to know this phenomenon by analyzing various aspects such as the motivations that lead young people to escape, what is the socio-demographic profile of these and the magnitude of this problem in Catalonia with the available data. There are many forms of intervention. For this reason, I have revised documents of different centers and interviewed some directors of various centers have been interviewed to hear their opinion on the different educational interventions in the event of runaways. With the information extracted from these interviews and based on the research carried out in the theoretical framework, I will propose an intervention methodology to deal with the runaways.
