Un equipo interdisciplinar para desarrollar un programa de educación artística en un centro de arte

Abstract

Presentamos un estudio que destaca el rol de un equipo de personas formadas en diversas disciplinas y que consiguió desarrollar un programa de educación artística ejemplar e innovador en un centro de arte. Lo hacemos a través de la recopilación y el análisis de las aportaciones del equipo del Laboratorio de las Artes (LdlA) de la Fundación «la Caixa» de Barcelona. Esta propuesta innovadora, nació en los años ochenta del siglo XX en el Centro Cultural Palacio Macaya de la referida institución, se fue expandiendo durante los años noventa y principios del siglo XXI hasta que, en el año 2002, se trasladó al nuevo Centro Cultural y Social CaixaForum Barcelona. Inicialmente, el programa conservó el nombre original y, coincidiendo posteriormente con un cambio en los criterios de gestión de la entidad, perdió el nombre de LdlA (2006), el equipo se disgregó (2012) y el proyecto se diluyó entre las numerosas actividades educativas de CaixaForum. El trabajo indaga en el perfil de las personas y en el funcionamiento de un equipo que, partiendo de una formación interdisciplinaria, implementó una nueva metodología capaz de establecer estrechos vínculos entre la educación no formal, la formal y la informal, para integrar los diferentes conocimientos a través del arte.

We present a study that highlights the role of a team of people trained in various disciplines and who managed to develop an exemplary and innovative artistic education program in an art center. We do this through the study, the compilation and analysis of the contributions of the team of the Laboratory of Arts (Arts Laboratory, hereafter LdlA) of «la Caixa» Foundation in Barcelona. This innovative proposal, which was born in the eighties of the 20th century at the Palau Macaya Cultural Centre of the above-mentioned entity, expanded during the nineties and the beginning of the 21st century until 2002, when it moved to the new Cultural and Social Centre CaixaForum Barcelona. Initially, the program kept its original name, and later, coinciding with a change in the entity’s management criteria, the name LdlA was lost (2006), the team disbanded (2012) and the project was integrated into the educational activities of CaixaForum. The work explores the profile of the people and the functioning of a team, which, starting from an interdisciplinary training, implemented a new methodology capable of establishing close links between non-formal, formal and informal education, to integrate different knowledge through the art.
