Estudi MPOC: Classificació fenotípica i comorbiditats d’una població comarcal

Abstract

Presentem un dels primers estudis poblacionals de pacients amb MPOC, centrant-nos en el concepte dels nous fenotips descrit per la guia GesEPOC 2014. L'objectiu principal és fer la classificació fenotípica de pacients MPOC que ingressaren a l’Hospital Universitari de Vic en un període de temps concret. Com a objectius secundaris es planteja valorar la gravetat d’aquests pacients, classificar-los en funció del fenotip/gravetat, estudiar les comorbiditats associades, així com valorar la qualitat de vida i grau de dispnea i estudiar l’adequació terapèutica dels malalts MPOC de la Comarca. També ens hem marcat com a objectius secundaris fer una anàlisi de la població geriàtrica, estudiar el subgrup de pacients amb bronquièctasi, aprofundir en l’estudi microbiològic de les mostres respiratòries d’aquests pacients i distribució segons el fenotip, prestant especial atenció al valor pronòstic de la colonització per P. aeruginosa i Aspergillus spp., i per últim estudiar la mortalitat de la sèrie inicial.

We present one of the first population studies of patients with COPD, focusing on the concept of the new phenotypes described by the GesEPOC 2014 guide. The main objective is to make the phenotypic classification of COPD patients that entered the “Hospital Universitari de Vic” during a specific period of time. As a secondary objective, it is proposed to evaluate the severity of these patients, classify them according to the phenotype / severity, study the associated comorbidities, as well as evaluate the quality of life and degree of dyspnea and study the therapeutic adequacy of the COPD patients of the county. We also have identified as secondary targets an analysis of the geriatric population, study the subgroup of patients with bronchialysis, deepen in the microbiological study of the respiratory samples of these patients and distribution according to the phenotype, paying special attention to the prognostic value of colonization by P. aeruginosa and Aspergillus spp., and finally study the mortality of the initial series.
